A permanent resident for refugee or foreign national may detained or arrested at the airport by the CBSA even after obtaining a valid visa due to failure in establishing their identity, not passing an interview and other reasons. Therefore, their entry in Canada is denied to avoid Flight Risk and they are deemed inadmissible.If an individual is arrested and detained or refugee at the airport, then a detention review will be held within 48 hours, seven days or 30 days.
