There are two ways to fix the Linksys WiFi range extender issue- By improving the firmware of the Linksys range extender device or by resetting the Linksys extender device. 

Improve Extender Software: to improve the software, visit the Linksys extender web management page by searching extender.linksys.com in the URL bar of the web browser. After that, tap on the administration option and then click on the extender firmware. After that, wait for a short while to download the latest firmware file on your laptop or on your computer. In the end, wait for a few minutes to download or install the latest firmware file. 

Reset Linksys WiFi Range Extender: First, look at the back side of the Linksys extender device. There you can find the reset hole button, push that button with the help of a paper clip or a hairpin. Now, all the Linksys extender LEDs will turn off. As it means, your Linksys WiFi range extender device is now completely reset. 

Note: After resetting the Linksys extender device, you will need to do the Linksys WiFi Extender setup process again. 

Therefore, with the help of the above two methods you can easily fix any kind of Linksys extender issue.
