The Tor Browser comes with a powerful tool called NoScript already installed - this extension sits in your toolbar and gives you granular control over every script a website tries to load. Instead of a total blackout, NoScript lets you decide which sources are trustworthy and which are not - this is perfect if you need a specific site to work but want to block all the "hidden" tracking scripts it tries to pull from other domains.
